Beautiful lurcher Cerys was rescued by her fosterer when her first owners sadly passed away suddenly. Her foster carer is not able to keep her long term, so now she is looking for her forever home. He has had Cerys spayed, micro-chipped and fully vaccinated, including the kennel cough vaccine. She has no pre-existing health conditions, so her health is very good. Cerys has a sweet nature, is very clean in the house and at night she sleeps in a crate with no issues once settled. Cerys's first owners were elderly, and the ideal new home would be with a retired person or couple who have previous experience of owning lurchers. She suffers from separation anxiety, so needs someone who is around for almost all of the time. Cerys does guard her food, so if there is another dog in her new home, her owner will need to take precautions at feeding times. Outside, Cerys is very good with both adults and children, but has never lived with children. She is also really good with other dogs she meets when out and is living with other dogs for four days a week. She is good both on and off lead and has excellent recall. Cerys has not lived with cats, so needs a cat free home. Cerys is in Lincolnshire, but can be re-homed outside this area. Home checks will be carried out and a vet's reference required. If you would like to know any more about Cerys and may be able to give her a new home, please e-mail her foster carer Michael at m.raymond.dorr@gmail.com
