Dorset Animal Workers Group is a rescue organisation local to the Poole/Bournemouth area run by Helen Griffiths and a group of dedicated volunteers. We are a non-profit making group and we all give our time, open our houses up as doggie accommodation and offer our cars as doggie taxis freely. All our dogs are kept in home and family situations with fosterers who have very kindly offered their help. From here they are placed in new homes. We are always looking for good, responsible homes for our dogs, but prefer to re-home within a 25 mile radius. Every potential new home will be homechecked by one of our homecheckers who will be looking for a securely fenced garden.
