Ducky is a fun-loving three-year-old medium-sized lurcher with a sleek black and white coat and a playful spirit to match. Once you get to know him, you quickly realise that he has an absolute heart of gold. Plucky Ducky is full of enthusiasm that sometimes seems to burst from his seams because he loves getting stuck into anything fun. Our team has been working with him to help channel his energy into engaging training sessions and other appropriate outlets. We would love to match him with a family who will continue to advocate for him in this way allowing him to become the best version of himself. In return for your patience and care, you will be rewarded with a loyal, affectionate and loving companion. Having not had the best start in life, it is our mission to find Ducky the wonderful forever home he deserves. Due to his past experiences, he can become a little worried when meeting new people; however, given time and love, he easily overcomes his hesitation and delights in making new human friends. His sighthound nature can also make him act a bit impulsively around other dogs which is something he has been steadily working on with our team, and we will fully support his new owners with ongoing guidance around this so he can become the best version of himself and love life to the fullest. To help Ducky truly thrive, we are looking for a home where he will be the only pet, within a family made up of adults and older teenagers. Whilst this handsome and affectionate lad loves to be active, in equal measures he loves good snooze on a big soft bed or sprawled out on a sofa and we often catch him limbs akimbo whilst he is happily snoozing on his back. If you have a sofa big enough for a leggy lurcher and a space in your life for a cheeky, loveable goofball, Ducky is waiting to fill your world with tail wags, happy zooms, and endless devotion. All he needs now is the second chance he has been dreaming of.
