Bursting with happiness and a genuine zest for life, Rodney is a charming nine-month-old lurcher with an affectionate, people-loving nature. Despite his youthful exuberance, he also loves to relax and have a good snooze, often settling down for a contented snooze wherever he can find a cosy spot. Having arrived into our care with a broken toe, Rodney has been taking things steady on short, on-lead walks to give his injury the time it needs to recover properly. He is eager to get the final all-clear from the vet for unrestricted runs, though his new family will need to build up his exercise gradually to keep his bone recovery on track. This sweet-natured, larger-sized lurcher has a heart of gold. He would happily share his home with a like-minded canine companion and could live with children following a successful introduction, though he requires a cat-free environment. Rodney is still a youngster with plenty of potential waiting to be nurtured. A patient, loving family ready to invest time and affection into his ongoing training will be rewarded with a devoted, joyful companion.
