Meet Amelia Amelia is a beautiful 3-year-old retired racing Greyhound who is ready to begin the next chapter of her life as a much-loved family companion. Having spent her early life in racing, the big wide world is still a little overwhelming for Amelia. She is a wonderfully calm and gentle girl who can be cautious when faced with new people, places and experiences, so she is looking for a quiet, patient home where she can take life at her own pace. With time, kindness and reassurance, Amelia is beginning to discover just how lovely life beyond the racing kennels can be. Amelia could live with a calm, confident male sighthound who will help her settle into home life, but she would also be happy as the only dog in the home. She can live with sensible children aged 10 years and over who understand that she will need space and time to build her confidence. Due to her strong prey drive, Amelia cannot live with cats or other small animals. Amelia is searching for a calm, understanding family who will help her continue finding her feet and show her what it truly means to be a cherished member of the family. In return, you'll gain a gentle, affectionate companion who will undoubtedly blossom with love, patience and the chance to enjoy all the comforts of home.
