About Me
Meet Reggie, a refined gentleman who has officially mastered the art of the classic greyhound lean. At 11 years young, this lovely boy is proof that age is truly just a number. While he cherishes his downtime, Reggie still absolutely loves his daily walks, taking in all the sights and smells at his own wonderfully leisurely pace as he meanders around the park.
He is an easy-going greyhound in many ways, but he comes with a few endearing quirks. Unlike most of his breed, Reggie thoroughly enjoys a gentle paddle in the stream and will happily stroll through—or even lie down in—puddles. That said, he draws the line at actual rain and would much prefer to stay cosy indoors on wet days.
Reggie is a deeply cherished pet who boasts excellent manners and is already completely accustomed to the comforts of home life. He is looking for a new family due to a very sad change in circumstances, and our absolute priority is finding him a loving home where he can continue to enjoy the comfortable, spoiled retirement he so thoroughly deserves. There is something incredibly special about welcoming an older dog into your life, and Reggie has so much affection and quiet companionship left to give.
In his previous home, Reggie was the centre of attention as an only pet, which suited him perfectly. However, he could potentially share his home with a calm, female sighthound, pending some successful introductions here at Lincoln Farm, but he wouldn’t be able to live with cats or smaller animals. While Reggie hasn't lived with children before, he has always been relaxed and comfortable around them, so we feel he would thrive best in a home with older teenagers (14 years upwards) who would ensure he gets the peaceful relaxation time he deserves.
