About Me

Lily is an 11-month-old female Lurcher with a joyful spirit and a heart full of love. She’s a bouncy, affectionate girl who brings a smile to your face no matter the weather. With her fun personality and gentle nature, Lily is a wonderful companion just waiting to blossom in the right home.

While she can be a little unsure in new environments, Lily responds beautifully to calm reassurance and patient guidance. Once she settles, her confidence grows quickly, often accompanied by a soft wag of her tail. She loves being close to her people and doesn’t always realise her size, happily leaning in for head and bottom scratches at every opportunity. Due to her fondness to be close to her loved ones, Lily is looking for a home that has someone around most of the time, whilst they help build her confidence around being left.

Lily has had limited experience in car travel and can sometimes need a gentle lift, she will need patient owners that understand it may take a little time for her to truly settle in the car.

Lily is very food motivated, which makes training both fun and rewarding. When treats are involved, her whole body joins in with an excited wag! She also has a sweet, playful side and has been known to carry around a teddy, gently nibbling it in her bed.
She would love a home where she can enjoy cosy evenings curled up on the sofa with her humans.

Lily is intrigued by other dogs and may pull in for a polite sniff on walks. She can be a little reserved at first, but with the right introductions, we’re confident she could build friendships and enjoy having some walking buddies.

Lily came into our care with her brother, who she does take comfort from. We would consider rehoming them together or separately, as long as it’s the right match for both dogs.

Lily could live with dog-savvy children aged 10+ who are comfortable around larger, bouncy dogs. She may also be able to live with a like-minded male dog. Due to her breed and instinct to chase, Lily cannot live with cats.

Lily is looking for a kind, patient home that will help her continue to build confidence and enjoy all the good things life has to offer. In return, she’ll be a loyal, loving companion who will brighten your days.
