The handsome Bedrock is a 3-year-old ex-racing greyhound who can’t wait to meet his new family. He is an exuberant soul with a real zest for life who frequently considers himself the life and soul of the party. He truly loves his toys and can often be spotted throwing them around while having a total whale of a time. This handsome fellow is a confident traveller who has thoroughly enjoyed adventuring offsite with our team members. These outings have served as gentle introductions to the big wide world, an environment that is still very much a new frontier for him. Since he can become overwhelmed when faced with too much stimulation all at once, he requires a patient and kind family to act as his best friends and advocates. He will thrive with adopters who allow him to adapt at his own pace so he can slowly learn and grow in confidence. It is important to remember that his background as an ex-racer means he has a highly developed chase drive, and his new family will need to be fully aware of this trait and feel comfortable managing his instincts during daily life. When it comes to affection, Bedrock is our resident champion of the classic sighthound lean and absolutely adores having a fuss made of him. While he genuinely enjoys spending time with his fellow sighthound buddies, he would likely feel more settled as an only pet. He is most comfortable being the centre of attention and will be a loyal companion to a household where he can be the sole focus of his family's love. Bedrock would suit a family made up of adults and teenagers.
