Countess is a sweet 5 year old, female greyhound who has just begun her retirement from the race track! Countess is a gentle soul who hasn’t experienced a home environment before, therefore everything will be new to her—but with patience, understanding, and the right companion, she has so much potential to blossom! Countess may be a little shy in the beginning, but once she forms a bond with you, her sweet personality starts to shine through. With growing confidence, she discovers the simple joys of life—like playing with toys and enjoying gentle companionship. We would like Countess to live in a home with a confident male sighthound, who can act as a reassuring presence and help guide her as she learns about the world. We believe she could live with teenagers, but a home without cats or small furry animals is a must. Given Countess’s breed and background, she will need to wear a muzzle when out and about, but she can safely enjoy some off-lead time in secure, enclosed paddocks where she can stretch her legs and have all the zoomies she likes. If you have a gentle home, a kind heart, and a friendly male sighthound looking for a companion, Countess could be the perfect addition to your family!
