About Me
Ron has three legs and a heart of gold! This loving boy, once a speedy racing dog, has slowed down (a little!) since losing his leg, but that doesn’t stop him from enjoying life. He’s a gentle soul who can be a little cautious at times, but his loving nature shines through in every cuddle and soft gaze.
He currently spends most of his time in a foster home, where he enjoys his creature comforts and lapping up all the attention and peace and quiet.
While Ron is still playful & friendly, he will need to be on a lead and muzzled when out in public, due to his breed's typical chase drive for small furries. New owners should be prepared to manage this and continue his training whilst on walks.
Ron will thrive best in a calm, understanding home where he can feel secure and loved, and get to grips with his new life at his own pace - ideally away from the inner city, with access to quieter walking routes. Ron will need his own private garden, and owners who are around most of the time.
While he’d no doubt enjoy a multi-carer home, he’d also happily settle with a single person ready to fall for his three-legged charm. Ron is a natural comedian and will make you giggle with his funny antics. Ron could possibly live with older children who are familiar with dogs, but prefers to be the solo dog, so he does not have to share the spotlight.
Ron isn’t just a dog with three legs – he’s a beautiful, loving soul ready to find a family who will love him just as he is. Could that be you?
