About Me

Meet Dizzy, a 3-year-old Saluki Lurcher with a heart full of affection and a cheeky spirit that’ll keep you on your toes! Although Dizzy can be shy at first, he is also as playful as they come, especially with his fellow canine companions—he’ll happily join in on any game of chase or just a good ol’ wrestling match. But don’t let that playful energy fool you; when it’s time to relax, Dizzy knows how to kick back, and he’s an absolute champion of sunbathing. Just show him a cozy bed and he’ll stretch out in pure bliss, soaking up the sun like a pro.

Now, Dizzy has one little secret… he’s a Houdini in disguise. He has been known to jump over fences to investigate what is on the other side, so his new family will need to manage this. When he's not out on an adventure, Dizzy loves getting attention—he’s affectionate, and you’ll often find him gently asking for some love or a good bottom scratch, where he will wiggle his hips to get the perfect angle. He thrives on affection, and once you’ve earned his trust, he’ll be your loyal sidekick forever.

Dizzy is a social butterfly with other dogs, therefore a confident dog already in the home could help this chap settle in to his new routine, but he would also be happy having his new family all to himself. Due to his breed and love for the chase Dizzy would not be able to live with cats or small furries, however the team feel Dizzy would be happy to live with older children, over the age of 8 years.

Though he can be a little wary of new situations and unknown things, Dizzy is incredibly sweet once he’s settled and comfortable. If you’re looking for a playful, affectionate, and quirky companion who will keep you laughing and loving every minute of life, Dizzy is your guy and he’ll be sure to steal your heart.
