Ruby is a 3-year-old ex-racing greyhound who came into our care when her racing career ended and is now very much embracing the luxuries that come with the pet lifestyle. She loves to snooze amongst her soft blankets and duvets and is very partial to some scrummy treats or a squeaky toy! There are still a few things about the big wide world that Ruby is getting used to, but so far she has taken everything in her stride from rides in our van to go for a forest walk to encountering a washing machine for the first time. She is such a sweetheart who loves being around people and she’s ever so eager to please, so training sessions are fun for everyone involved. We are looking to match Ruby up with a family who will shower her with patience and love as she adjusts to home life and will be happy to give her a helping hand with her toilet training too. We think she would be comfortable living with children aged 10+ and could also live with some fellow sighthounds but would need to find a home without cats or other small animals.
