My Name Is… Lenny I Am… Lurcher I Am… 17 Months old I Am… 23kg Can I be rehomed with other dogs.. No Can I be rehomed with cats… No Can I be rehomed with children… 12+ years I am looking for… A foster or forever home MY HISTORY Lenny arrived to us via the council after he was found as a stray. He is now on the search for a forever home. Lenny has been with us since January 2025 and very sadly has had no interest! ABOUT LENNY Hi, I’m Lenny! i have been really down on my luck since being found as a stray. I have had absolutely no interest! I arrived as young boy with no manners, but I have now flourished into a young male who loves cuddles and home comforts! I am fully toilet trained and I will ask to go out if I need the toilet. I really enjoy my food and treats, I know how to sit and take food politely. I am not too jumpy at the kitchen worktop but I may take the opportunity to take food if it is left unattended! I have been able to settle happily throughout the day if my foster home are working from home. They are able to take phone calls/zoom calls without me being too distruptive! I really enjoy my walks and will rest and snooze happily after a walk. I can be left for short, reasonable periods of time, but sometimes I need to be built up to time being left in a new environment. I am a bit of an anxious boy and sometimes I take a short amount of time to adapt in a transition, but please bear with me! I am good with all people and love to play with toys. I am a very intelligent boy who loves to learn! HEALTH I have no health issues. I am not on any medication. MY TEMPERAMENT WITH OTHER DOGS I get very over stimulated and boisterous around other dogs, I will need to learn to improve on this behaviour as not all dogs appreciate it! I have shown great progress in walking politely past other dogs when I have my head collar on. MY IDEAL FAMILY I would like an active family who would love to show me new training and tricks as I love to learn! AM I ELIGIBLE TO APPLY?
