Meet our handsome lad Arnie! This stunning boy is an ex racing greyhound, and came to Battersea from another rescue. Arnie is very typical of his breed - he enjoys his walks, but his absolute favourite pastimes are snacking and napping. He does display some chase drive, so will be need to kept on lead and muzzled when out and about in public. Arnie has spent some time in a foster home. His carers have described him as the sweetest dog who is always coming over to them for a fuss. Arnie is friendly with other dogs and can walk calmly next to them on the lead, but generally keeps himself to himself when out on walks. He does particularly enjoy the company of other greyhounds, but can be worried if other dogs are too boisterous. He could potentially live with another calm greyhound. Arnie has shown to be quite worried by loud noises when out and about, so he is looking for a home away from busy areas with his own private garden where he can build his confidence and let off steam with magnificent greyhound zoomies! Arnie would make a wonderful companion as a single dog, but would absolutely love to find a home that he could share with his new best friend Cassie (https://www.battersea.org.uk/dogs/dog-rehoming-gallery/cassie). Since meeting at Battersea they have really helped build each other's confidence, and share a kennel and resources wonderfully.
