Digit is our lovely and friendly ex racing greyhound she enjoys spending time in our offices and could not be any more chilled out. Her love of people shines through, and she will come over for a lean and a fuss. Digit loves playing with soft toys and will quite happily be surrounded by them. Digit has spent time in a foster home and has come on in leaps and bounds, she has settled nicely and is very well mannered. She is sleeping downstairs overnight on a duvet and is nicely settled. She has met other dogs and been friendly and travels well in the car. Digit has a high chase drive and will need to wear a muzzle and be kept on a lead in public places. Digit could potentially live with another dog – another sighthound would be ideal, but if not then a breed of similar size, she can be playful and likes to play chase. Digit is going to need help with her House Training and during her time on foster has made great progress with this. The Battersea rehoming team will provide new owners with lots of useful advice on how to help Digit in this area. She does sometimes stop on her walks and needs patience and positive encouragement to help her start walking again. Her new home will need a very secure garden, in a quiet area where she can enjoy peaceful walks. She will need more than one carer in the home, so that the leaving hours are minimal. Her new owners need to have some experience with sighthounds or good knowledge of the breed.
