This lovely fawn greyhound is Dusty, who, as you can see, is enjoying being allowed to run and play in the field at the rescue kennels after being retired from racing. He is no bigger than average for a male greyhound. Dusty is a very friendly boy and is going to make a wonderful pet and companion. He can live with another greyhound or lurcher, or any other bigger kind of dog, but no cats. Dusty can also be an only dog, as long as he is not left on his own for more than 4 hours a day. He is in the kennels in Devon.
Update 15th September 2018: We have sometimes wondered by Dusty dosnt join in playing with the other greyhounds in the field and our vet examined him and found that he is blind. He manages very well despite this disability and we think that he will quickly learn his way around a new home.
If you would like to give Dusty a new home, please contact the rescue on 01202 696685 and ask for Judy or send an email using the form if available.
