Please say hello to Dazzler, a gorgeous 8 year old whippet cross who finds herself in rescue in Shrewsbury following the sad passing of her owner. She has lived with another dog in the past and could probably do so again, but she is a very friendly and people focused girl so any other dog would need to be comfortable allowing her the fuss she craves. She can be nervous when she meets other dogs out and about and will need someone who realises that she is anxious and help her overcome this – we can always provide 100% support from our behaviourists, free of charge, to anyone who is willing to give Dazzler that effort and time and having lived with another dog in the past, we feel sure with the right home and owner, she could feel confident with them once more.

She loves to play with toys and is a big fan of treats, so getting her attention isn’t difficult, but she would rather be in a home where someone is around most of the time as that is what she is used to. She CANNOT live with cats, no sir! Assuming of course you didn’t want your cat to pack their bag and leave home! Dazzler is definitely a no cat kind of girl! But people, she loves everyone and deserves all that love right back – can you turn her life around? She was used to a safe, secure, steady home with an owner who doted on her – she misses that 🙁

She needs a special someone to open their hearts and home to her, is that you?

If you would like to offer a new home for Dazzler, please contact the rescue on and ask for Andrea or send them an email if available.
