Nancy 4-5 month old Greyhound puppy who was seen being thrown from a car. The finder took her home and attempted to re unite incase a stolen dog but nobody came looking. Sadly Nancy was to much for their 17 year old terrier female so she has moved to us in the kennels house to find a permanent home.
Nancy is bright as a button, clever, bold, confident and pushy! A real cheeky little minx. Nancy will need a home with experienced sighthound owners and someone around all or most of the time especially whilst settling. Ideally any other dogs in the home need to be confident as Madam is not backwards at coming forwards. Nancy is already acknowledging when she needs to toilet and crying at the door to be let out, she has had very few accidents in the house and is crate trained, puppy pads though serve for entertainment purposes in her crate and nothing else. This girl really is a blank canvas and you will get out what you put in. Nancy can be rehomed with young children but it does need noting they need to be dog savy and any home needs to understand baby sighthounds are very fast moving and teethy and can go through a really naughty stage. Cats will need to be dog savy as the little minx really currently has no fear of anything and owners will need to be firm with cat training her. As with any puppy Nancy would benefit from attending puppy training classes to learn to form a working bond with her owner and to start to work as soon as possible on recall as its imperative this is put into place. Someone really is going to be very lucky to have this little lady join their lives.
Nancy is vaccinated, kc vaccinated, de flead, de wormed, microchipped and any new home will engage in a contract that agrees to undertake neutering at a relevant ages. If this is not carried out Greyhound Gap will seek to reclaim. Nancy is currently in Stoke on Trent but can be rehomed nationally subject to a successful home visit being carried out and all members of the immediate family and any resident dogs being willing to travel to meet with her.
