Homer has arrived to Project Galgo! Born on 08/01/2020, this beautiful boy's first experiences of the world were so cruel. Over 3 years, never knowing anywhere remotely like a loving home. Our great friends at Asociación Galgos del Sur rescued him from a place in Fuente Palmera where he and others were kept in a deplorable state of health and hygiene. It is believed that it is due to such neglect that he lost some of his vision. He is partially blind. And how does he present after the hell he endured? A calm, docile boy, "a heaven." He is not afraid but is a balanced dog that can adapt well to a home. When he meets someone new he is curious and has no problem being touched even if he does not know them. He may seem somewhat shy or reserved at first but he adapts. With other dogs he is very good, calm and sociable, not dominant, it does not matter if he is with other more active or scared dogs. He is a dog to live in the company of other dogs because he has poor vision, he knows how to move very well (he is not completely blind) but being with other dogs will make him feel more secure and learn from them. This very special boy is now in one of our super foster homes in Derbyshire.
