Ember came to us from Qatar a few months ago.
At first she was very scared of everything and would only stay in a crate all day, afraid to come out. But in the following months with her foster Mom and Dad she has made good progress.
She is still nervous of people she doesnt know but will bond to her human as she has done to her foster Mom. There are two resident dogs in her foster home. Ember loves the older calm dog but doesnt like the bossy bouncy dog! She is very cuddly, shy and sweet. Young, so is also inquisitive and playful.
She still has no idea of humans in general, and the things they do or build, it is simply not something she understands, so she is very scared. But I’m sure once she trusts her human she will hang out with them anywhere.
She has no prey drive that her foster parents have noticed and no interest in counter surfing but she does like people food! She knows some commands and is fine to be left for up to 4 hours in her crate. She does have a few guarding issues but her foster parents are working on this.
In short, Ember is a work in progress but whoever adopts her will be rewarded many times over as they watch her blossom into the dog she was always meant to be.
Ember is in foster in Kent.
