About Me

Say hi to our lovely Floyd, an 8 month old lurcher (greyhound x SBT). To give you an idea of his size he weighs around 25kg.

Floydy is a proper goofball who makes us laugh every single day, he's desperate for a fun filled home where he can be his daft self.

This silly pup has lots of energy so is needing a home that can provide lots of physical and mental stimulation. He is a super affectionate boy that loves cuddles and playing. A well fenced grass garden to burn off some of his energy would be great as he really enjoys doing zoomies.

Like most dogs he really enjoys his walks and walks great on the lead but this still needs to be encouraged as he can be excitable and strong when meeting other dogs. He's looking for adopters who understand dogs body language and how to have positive introductions and interactions.

Floydy will need adopters who will continue his training. He is keen and eager to learn and responds well to positive fun based training. He will need varied activities to tire him mentally and physically. He settles well indoors, plays nicely on his own with toys and loves to snuggle on the sofa.

Sadly Floyd has separation anxiety so will need a home where someone is around all of the time and who will carry on with his behaviour modification training. In foster he was able to be left for up to 3 hours with his foster dog brother as a companion.

We think Floyd would thrive in a home with a slightly older dog who has well rounded social skills and can show him the ropes. This would be subject to introductions at our centre going well. Being exuberant we would only consider a home with older children of 10yrs+.

If you think that you could offer this beautiful boy the most amazing home then please Say hi to our lovely Floyd, an 8 month old lurcher (greyhound x SBT). To give you an idea of his size he weighs around 25kg.
