Mr Tommy Greyhound is a four year old Greyhound.
Tommy is a dear little chap who is looking for his forever home , he's currently in foster with a female Greyhound and he's settled very well.
He’s a happy boy , very different to the quiet boy who arrived a couple of months ago . At first as with many hounds from kennels , he was a little food thief but he stands as gold as gold now waiting for his food. He loves the conservatory in his foster home , he’s a real sun worshiper , he finds a sunny spot and just lays out until he gets too warm and then finds a cool spot in the dining room and goes to sleep there instead.
He's still not sure about dog toys although he has taken to carrying his fosterer's fabric-stuffed, dog-shaped, door stop around with him, he's slept with it on occasion! He hasn't quite got the hang of making dog toys squeak just yet.
Tommy settles well in the house if he’s had his exercise, he’ll jump up on the sofa stretch out and that’s it during the day and overnight. He's had a few zoomies in the house his foster mum calls him Red Rum ! Its lovely to see a quiet boy come round and decide he's happy enough to bound about .
Tommy absolutely loves his walks, pick up his lead, rattle it and ask him if he wants to go walkies and he’s up and stood right in front of you tail going ten to the dozen. He’s very good once he’s out on the lead and after initial excitement , he’ll happily trot alongside you without any problems .
He will make an ideal family pet , he's met young children without issue and he would be love a family or person that went for days out in the car, trips to the beach, the park etc. We think he’d definitely appreciate children or someone who would be happy to run and play wjth him .
Tommy is a special chap looking for a forever loving home . Tommy is neutered , vaccinated , microchipped and flead and wormed . He can be homed both locally and nationally dependent on a successful homecheck .
