About Me

Beautiful bedlington/whippet/saluki Arlo lives with his owner in a boarding school and she feels that he would be happier living in a quieter environment, so has made the difficult decision to look for a new home for him.

She says "Arlo, 2 years old bedlington whippet/ saluki, born march 2020. Male, castrated at 18 months, up to date on all vaccinations. Knows lots of commands and always happy for a treat or play in the garden. House trained, happy to be left for a few hours with background noise. Walks well on lead, and long lead but hasn’t got good recall. Reactive to other dogs on walks as well as being fearful of big lorries and main roads, would prefer a quiet, rural area with another dog that can teach him his place and willing to play. Muzzle trained for the groomers as doesn’t like the loud nosies. Happy in the car if sat next to someone, can be noisy is in the boot. Arlo is a very vocal dog and uses his voice a lot. Arlo can also resource guard areas such as his bed and the sofa, which he needs further training for. He isn’t a perfect dog and will need help to learn but with the right environment I truly believe he will thrive".

If you may be able to give Arlo a new home, please ring his owner Marcie on 07787 227620. All home offers will be carefully vetted. Arlo is in Wiltshire.
