Alfonso is a itsy bitsy male Podenco of 10 years old, the most adorable and sweetest boy. Partnering up with the amazing rescue ‘Fundación Benjamin Mehnert’ in Spain, we are beyond honoured to introduce to you ALFONSO, a young at heart senior Podenco needing our help. How could this poppet, at almost 10 years, be left to live in a shelter through no fault of his own? Alfonso didn’t get a say in the matter, but that’s where we stepped in to be his voice. This pocket-size Podenco, at just 10kg, with such an endearing character, deserves a warm home, a comfy lap to see out his retirement. Alfonso was sadly diagnosed with a collapsed trachea but it is not deemed serious – a little cough here and there, but no impact on his breathing. He is such a wonderful fella, with the most fantastic waggy tail. Alfonso is in one of our superb foster homes in Derbyshire and is an absolute delight.
