Lurchers Mezcal and Luna are very much loved by their owner, but due to personal circumstances, she is am no longer able to keep them and has made the very difficult decision to look for a new home. They are very much bonded and need to stay togeher. They are adorable dogs, who are very people oriented, and good around the house. They can be left by themselves during the day without any issues. Like most lurchers, they have a strong prey drive (they don’t like cats), but they can be let off the lead in open fields, where it is safe for them to run. Their recall is pretty good, but if they see something to chase, they will be off! Unfortunately, Mezcal is nervous around children - not aggressive but his body language indicates that he’s worried, and therefore, so he can't be rehomed with a family with small children.
