Willow, 1 year old Young female greyhound. Very loving in the home but takes a while to bond with you and trust you. Currently in foster learning about the world, but very nervous out and about. She hasn’t seen much and is learning that not everything is scary. Willow is with Skylors Animal Rescue in North Wales.
She is good with all dogs – but cannot currently be let off lead in an open space – due to her nervous nature as she would bolt. She is slowly getting the hang of housetraining but is prone to accidents as she hasn’t yet learnt to ask to go outside. She needs another dog as a companion as she loves to cuddle up with her foster companion, Paddy, and gets comfort from a more confident dog, but an older dog would find her too much.
She is crate trained and is used to being left for short periods but definitely needs someone who is around most of the day (not just during Covid). She needs an experienced home who can help her confidence grow and who has patience to work at her speed to help her learn that not all things are scary. Willow is looking for someone who is in for the long haul who has the patience / time and experience that she needs to help her grow into an amazing dog. Due to her nervousness she needs a child free home. She is not cat trained. She will also need spaying after her season.
Vaccinated, chipped, flea and worm treated. Home check and adoption fee apply.
