About Me

Riber is a 2 year old shy galgo, who lives in a foster home as an only dog. He is a real mummy's boy and although he is shy he adores cuddles and will do anything to snuggle up with his foster mum. He lives in a busy area and ideally he would be best suited to a more rural location - but having the right people is more important. He needs experienced owners who will give him the time and space to settle. He is fine with other dogs but can be bullied as he doesnt push forward.

Riber is a fabulous dog but he has been through a lot of change lately so he needs owners who will think very carefully before adopting him so they know they are ready for the commitment. For more info about Riber, go to

During the national lockdown we can only rehome in Kent, East Sussex, Surrey, South London, East London, Essex and South Hertfordshire. This does change as the rules change so please always check our Covid statement on our Kent Greyhound rescue website. Please do not apply outside of these areas as we have to follow the Government's guidance to keep everyone safe. We can only homecheck using our key volunteers and these are the areas they cover. Once the National rules relax - our rules will follow. You need to travel to us and we need to travel to us - and we all need to keep this to an absolute minimum.

If you can apply you need to complete the online application form on our website - this is the quickest way to get a reply during lockdown.

All our dogs are neutered, vaccinated and vet checked. Most have lived in foster homes. We do ask for a donation and everything is explained in full on our website.
