About Me

Two-year-old saluki cross Breeze is a sweet, shy little dog who was found straying, homed, and then returned to the pound before she came to us. What she really needs now is a secure, supportive home where she will receive unconditional love.

This pretty little lass is sociable with people and keen to interact, but can be very shy and unsure. She likes to lean on you, and enjoys gentle fuss and affection. She will give her paw to initiate more stoking if you stop! Because she needs very gentle handling and a quiet environment, she will only be homed to an adult-only family. Her adopters will need to be patient and wait for her to come to them. She has shown signs of separation anxiety, so will not want to be left alone for long periods. A household where someone who works from home would be ideal.

Breeze will need quiet places to walk where she won’t get overwhelmed: she’s definitely not a pub dog! Ideally her new home will have a confident canine in situ, who she can look to for support. She is friendly with the other dogs in kennels, and has tested well with our little spaniel, so could live with a smaller breed pending introductions, although she has a rough and tumble play style! She enjoys fluffy toys, chasing a ball, and playing tug with a rope toy. She really loves her treats, especially doggy ice cream!

Life hasn’t been a Breeze for this little girl so far, but in the right home, she will blossom into a loving, devoted pet. Can you give her the security and support she needs to get there? If so, please get in touch.
