Danny is a two year old ex racing greyhound who is recovering from a racing injury (broken hock). Whilst he is well on the road to recovery, he will need his fitness and strength building up gradually – lots of lead walking, but no running at this stage.
He’s a lovely boy, happy to meet people, but doing it politely and not too over the top. He enjoys exploring his surroundings, and walks nicely on a lead, including alongside canine companions. He’s happy in the company of other dogs, and is nice and calm once initial greetings have happened -hence, he could live with another dog pending introductions.
He enjoys human interaction and will take treats from the hand gently. He is interested in toys, but again, doesn’t snatch these and is happy to share them so you can play with him.
Danny is a confident boy, who would make someone a lovely companion. He is looking for a home where his new humans will be happy to work on his physical rehab plan to continue his recuperation – the love and dedication will be rewarded ten-fold.
Oh Danny Boy…we hope someone gets in touch soon!
