Clyde is a very sweet boy who has come to us from a rescue in Wales. He was three years old in December, and as far as we know, he never raced. Initially he was quite shut down and shy, but now he’s showing what a loving, sensitive boy he is, who adores soft toys and footballs!
This handsome black and white lad is looking for a quiet home where he won’t be left alone too much. He has lived in a home for a time, but had separation anxiety when left on his own, so would be happier with someone recently retied or who works from home. He prefers gentle fuss to being hugged, so would ideally be homed with older children.
Clyde gets on really well with the other hounds in kennels, but he’s shown some over excitement around smaller breeds, so care will need to be taken around them. He could live with another larger dog, if it is calm and respectful. He can be anxious on walks, so a large secure garden to mooch about in would suit him down to the ground.
Clyde is becoming more and more sociable and curious about the world around him. Given the chance to find his paws at his own pace, he will make a wonderful pet. All he asks is love, comfort – and loads of toys! Could yours be the family to give them to him?
