Larry is a really sweet, sensitive dog who was found wandering stray. A lovely tan and white lurcher, he’s around five years old. Larry is very nervous of new people and places, so needs a quiet home where he will be given time to settle and come out of his shell. Experienced owners who have helped other nervous dogs would be ideal.
Larry really enjoys interacting with other dogs, and may be happiest living with a more confident large or medium sized canine pal who could give him support. He needs an adult-only home with a secure garden where he can feel safe. On walks, he’s well behaved but could bolt if startled, so a quiet environment and firm hand on the lead will be needed.
It’s clear that Larry really wants to make friends, but has been treated badly in the past, so will need lots of patient, gentle encouragement to learn to trust people again. In return, the rewards for helping this little lad will be endless – and the greatest of them all will be the oceans of love he has to give. Could you give little Larry a chance at a happy life?
