Lovely Taffy arrived in our care from a pound situation. He is an older chap about 6 years old and a more gentle and placid boy you could not find.
He is about 25 inches to the shoulder in height and we believe greyhound x saluki making him a longdog technically!
He is now neutered and vaccinated and ready for a forever home.
Taffy has been worked and has a big scar on his back thigh Sadly it looks like this was never stitched or treated and it was left to heal as an open wound.
We feel this adds to his character.
He is calm and steady. He mixes well with all the dogs in his foster home, male and female.
I think his ideal home would be with a lovely female sighthound but he could also live happily with another male.
He does, due in part to being worked, have a fairly high prey drive so no cats or small furry dogs for him.
He is going to make some lucky person a wonderful companion.
UPDATE 21 MARCH 2020 - Due to the current COVID 19 Pandemic we feel it is only right that we suspend all adoptions until the danger is over. All our dogs are in foster homes and we cannot risk any of our foster homes possibly becoming ill through exposure to visitors.
Just as soon as we are able to we will once again be homing and ask you all to be patient during this most trying of times.
If you would like to give Taffy a new home, please contact the rescue on and ask for Laurie or send an email using the form if available.
