About Me

The eyes have it! Playful pup Cashew is a lovely cream and fawn lurcher with remarkable eyes: one blue and one brown. Just seven months old, he was given up by his owner and so came into our care. Affectionate Cashew gets on well with everyone he meets – human and canine – and is happy to be friends with everyone. He’s been polite with our terrier tester, and could live with small breeds, pending introductions.

This lively lad will need an active home where his intelligence is put to the test and he has plenty to keep him occupied. He has some issues with hip pain, so may need to be kept on restricted exercise – and therefore have to burn up his energy using his brain instead. It won’t be a problem though – he’s quick to learn and super smart; and he loves his food and toys, so reward-based training should be a breeze. He could live with older children, or in an adult-only household, and will need someone who’s around a fair bit: no puppy likes to be left alone for long periods of time.

This adorable boy has the biggest feet we’ve ever seen, and he’ll be tripping over them to get to your sofa. Could you give Cashew the loving, stable home he needs? You won’t regret it – he’s creamy, dreamy, and sweet as a nut!
