Jessie is a beautiful 4 month old lurcher pup who is now ready to find her new home. She came to us a couple of weeks ago as she had been passed through a few hands and the person who had taken her on realised they didn't have the time or energy to rear a young lurcher.
Jessie is currently in foster in Stoke on Trent and is proving to be a darling if somewhat timid girl at the moment. She is fully crate trained and sleeps all night downstairs with the other dogs happily and is good to be left for a couple of hours in their company during the day also in her crate. She is good with her housetraining and has learned to bark to ask to go out already. Out and about she walks well on lead but does need more work to build her confidence. She can be rehomed with dog savy cats and is fabulous with the foster carers 3 year old Grandchild very gentle and mindful. We do believe that Jessie most definitely needs a home with other dogs and someone around all or most of the time. The other dogs do help her become more confident and she is polite with them in the main BUT is still a puppy and does have her moments, she does back off though when they say enough is enough. As a youngster she needs someone around all or most of the time to continue bringing her on in the home environment. We would also recommend that any new adopter considers puppy training classes for her to help her continue to build up her confidence and to not be such a little worry wart. With a little time and effort Jessie will make a wonderful addition to any family home.
Jessie is vaccinated, kc vaccinated, de flead, de wormed, microchipped and anybody interested in adopting her would need to sign to agree to neutering her at a relevant age agreed by ourselves as a rescue.
Jessie is currently in Stoke on Trent but can be rehomed nationally subject to a successful homevisit and any new home committing to travelling to meet her with all members of the immediate family and current resident dogs.
