About Me

Meet the beautiful Bolt who is currently with us here in kennels at Greyhound Gap and now desperately needs a sofa to call his own at 10 years of age.

Bolt was recently handed into us after being in his own since a young age as his owners boyfriend was allergic. This boy is such a sensitive soul and sobbed literally for the first week not getting much rest. Now though he has adapted and is happy with us all here at the kennels and his surroundings but its just not home and he is of an age where he needs a forever family to live out his days.

Bolt is so sweet, gentle and sensitive and a worried little soul at times. You can see he has not had much in the way of engagement or experiences and not been allowed to live the life a dog usually lives with lots of outings and socialising. That said though he has been lovely with the other dogs he has met and we feel that a home with a female sighthound in would be the best for him, a gentle girlie to be his new guiding companion. If Bolt were to be an only dog which he has been we feel after a life lived in the kitchen we would like it to be a home with someone around all or most of the time so that he has the company he so desperately craves and the cuddles and tlc he has missed out on till this point.

Bolt would not we feel like a home with young noisy children about, it would worry him and he would like a peaceful and gentle home where he can just relax and snooze the day away in between walks. He travels well and walks like a dream on the lead and we feel children teenage and upwards who would be sensitive to his worries would be fine. Up until 2 years ago Bolt did live with cats so we would consider a very dog savy home use to introducing sighthounds and felines and taking it slowly and at their pace.

Bolt is vaccinated, kc vaccinated, de flead, de wormed, microchipped and has been neutered and received a dental where he lost quite a number of teeth poor lad.
