About Me

UPDATE Solly has now found a home, but Scout is still looking for one.

Solly and Scout are 2 9 week old lurcher puppies who are now ready to find their new homes.

As with all puppies they will need homes with someone around all or most of the time to invest in their housetraining and socialisation. These 2 beautiful boys came to us after a member of the public managed to secure them. They were being given away by someone driving round looking for someone to take them. We believe them to be saluki x in breeding.

Both boys are currently in separate foster homes residing alongside other dogs learning about manners and becoming adapt in dog body language and skills and are both lovely boys. The fawn boy is much cheekier and outgoing than the black and tan and a bold little boy.

We feel both pups would be best placed in homes with other resident dogs alongside them or if to be only dogs lurcher experienced homes who have been use to the work and rearing involved in puppies. Pups are hard work and as such any home should be prepared to understand you only get out what you put in.

The pups can be rehomed with younger children but please do understand that like any pup as they mature they can be nippy. Lurcher pups especially are fast moving and this needs to be understood and any rehoming one of the pups with younger children needs the time to invest in boths needs separately.

The pups have been socialised around cats and can be rehomed with feline friends however cat training remains an ongoing investment as they grow and begin to hone their natural drive.

We ask that anyone adopting a puppy to us is committed to seeking basic socialisation classes to enable a stronger bond and understanding between pup and owner.

The owners will also need to sign to state that the boys will be neutered at a relevant age and failure to do so and provide proof back to us as a rescue will results in return of the dog to our care.

The boys are vaccinated, kc vaccinated, de flead, de wormed, microchipped and will need ongoing injections.

They will NOT be rehomed together and will go to individual homes and are currently in Stoke on Trent.

For more information or to offer one of our lovely boys a home please complete the pre adoption questionnaire below:
