Hazel arrived here quite a few weeks ago from Brecon Pound. She is a young, probably 2 years old, brindle lurcher who was abandoned on the Brecons. She is incredibly sweet, gentle, slightly timid but very friendly. Hazel happily shares her very large stable with another friendly young dog (Padlock the beagle) but she was equally happy by herself before Padlock arrived.
Her foster carer has done a good job of getting Hazel over her spaying as the poor dog took a long time to heal at the wound site. The carer has also got Hazel to put on weight and be very well behaved on and off the lead whilst being exercised.
We are looking for a calm, kind, non-town, forever home for Hazel now. She is medium lurcher size and is very popular with all who have the pleasure of meeting her.
