Frankly, our dear Scarlett does give a damn! This delightful brindle lurcher girl can be charmingly shy, and nervous of new people, but once she gets to know you, she will love you to bits. Given the chance to meet new friends at her own pace, Scarlett will soon be bestowing kisses on them and trying to get into their laps for cuddles.
Not much more than a year old, Scarlett had a tough start, coming to us via a dog pound in Ireland after she was found wandering the streets. She is absolutely delighted that her star is now on the up, taking delight in new sights and smells, and eager to pick up new life skills. A really clever lass, Scarlett has quickly picked up the niceties of walking on the lead and keeping her kennel clean, and will soon learn to be an exceptional pet.
Our little starlet would love a canine pal to keep her company and give her confidence – her very own Rhett Butler maybe! She needs quiet places to walk while she finds her feet, and could live with older children as long as they understand how to be gentle with her. Although she loves a cuddle and a long snooze on a soft bed, she’s an active girl who wants to be kept busy the rest o of the time.
Tomorrow is assuredly another day – but will it be the day that you let Scarlett into your life? We’re hoping she’s soon gone with the wind from kennels – straight into her forever home.
