About Me

Willow is a three year old female greyhound who has been in a foster home with a female Labrador and a male Greyhound for the last few weeks.
Willow is simply stunning with beautiful features and markings. Her ears are really quite special and do, at times, seem to be operated by forces outside of Willow’s control! She really has some comical expressions and is guaranteed to keep her forever family amused! She is a very responsive young lady, she quickly learnt the boundaries in the foster home, proving to be a delightful house guest. Willow hasn’t chewed anything in the house and is starting to show an interest in playing with toys. However, Willow would much rather play with her canine friends and she definitely needs a home with another doggy playmate. Willow tries every trick in the book to engage her foster sister and brother in play, whether it be play bowing, putting her head on one side to make herself look cute or even giving them a gentle paw. She is very respectful of the resident dogs and backs off if they don’t feel like playing.
Willow is adjusting beautifully to home life, loves her comforts and has been 100% clean in the house, standing by the back door to let her foster family know when she needs to go out. Willow loves her food but waits her turn for treats, always taking them gently. She is left for four hours during the week and the doggy cam shows that she soon settles down and doesn’t fret when left alone with the resident dogs. Overnight, Willow sleeps in her own bed in the foster family’s bedroom and she doesn’t stir all night until her foster family get up.
Willow is an easy girl to walk (she sometimes pulls a little at the start of a walk) and has been friendly towards the various other breeds that she has met whilst on her lead. She has been confident when meeting new people, after all, more potential for a fuss! Willow has met primary school aged children and been her usual gentle and friendly self. She is an inquisitive girl and enjoys new experiences, she loves travelling in the car and settles down immediately.
Willow is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and flead and wormed. She can be homed both locally and nationally dependent on a successful homecheck.
