About Me

Little thunderbolt two year old Maisie Lurcher is a full-on fun-loving bundle of endless energy. Coming from a kennelled, working background, she has now found the delights of home living, the joy of balls and soft toys and is behaving like a happy puppy. Maisie is very comfortable and obedient walking off the lead and she is sociable and playful with other dogs. She responds well to simple voice commands and is almost clean in the house , when she arrived having come from a kennel, she was not house trained. To maintain the house training , she will require a clear routine and positive reinforcement. Travel in a car is no problem as she finds this a safe environment and she travels well. We would suggest that she is homed with another dog or dogs, and ideally, an owner who is active and around a lot. Maisie can be left for short periods, especially after extensive exercise. She favours a female owner and can be a touch hesitant of males she doesn’t know. Maisie is respectful of cats she is in a foster home with two cats and two female Greyhounds. She will however chase anything that moves too fast, interpreting this as play. She has chased squirrels but never attempted any attack or to attempt to catch them. Two years old this month, Maisie will be an active, energetic and loving dog for many years to come, she is receptive to training and this will be essential to stimulate her. Maisie is vaccinated, microchipped, spayed and flead and wormed. She can be homed both locally and nationally dependent on a successful homecheck, please contact us if after reading the above, you can offer her the right, forever, loving home.
