Bouncing Buddy is a one-year-old black and white lurcher, who has a heart just brimming with love. Despite being rescued from an unpleasant home life, where he was treated roughly, this little lad just loves people, and is a happy, sociable boy. Perhaps because he hasn’t had much, Buddy loves fuss and attention, and is very interactive. He can flinch away from hand movements, suggesting mistreatment in the past, and can be a bit snatchy with food, so will need patience and kindness while he learns that life can be full of fun and treats.
Buddy loves playing with toys, especially footballs, but is happy to share. He is an incredibly active, playful boy who will need plenty of mental stimulation, as well as physical exercise, so needs a home with lots going on. He would really enjoy activities such as cani-cross, agility or flyball. He will also need to be taught some basic life skills through reward-based training.
This lovely lad is very keen to meet and play with other dogs, and would love to have active playmates who don’t mind his boisterous play style. He may struggle with lots of time left alone, so canine pals would really help with this, as would lots of activities to prevent boredom, or owners who work from home. He could live with older children who can help with his training, and won’t be bowled over by his enthusiasm!
Young Buddy hasn’t known a lot of love in his short life, and deserves so much – could you be the one to offer it to him?
