Bridget is a shy Irish beauty. She is still nervous of people till she gets to know them well. She is gentle, likes dogs, is clean and is quiet. She is smaller than most lurchers at about 22 inches to the shoulder. Bridget has been neutered and vaccinated, and of course chipped and wormed and deflead. Bridget has just moved to a very experienced foster home that is used to dealing with nervous dogs and I am sure that with their guidance she will soon make great progress. Bridget is in foster in Hants. No cats please for this beauty. No children for her either. And a nice quiet home with another sighthound for confidence. Further we would like her people to be home with her. She would not do well being left even with a dog walker. We also feel that because she is nervous it is unlikely that Bridget will be able to be off lead for the foreseeable future as she would easily spook and it would be very hard for anyone to catch her. If having an on-lead dog is something you DO NOT want, please do not apply for Bridget.
