About Me

Three year old Miss Tilly Greyhound decided racing wasn't for her anymore and has been in a foster home for the last month, she has taken to home life like a duck to water and is ready to look for her forever home. Tilly is a sweet natured girl, she can be quite shy at first, she isn't one to push herself, very typically Greyhound in that respect, she is certainly waiting for that right person to give her a forever home where she can bond properly when she knows she is 'home' . She has spent time with two older female Greyhounds and is currently in foster with other Hounds both male and female, though she does seem to have more of an eye for the boys ! She is housetrained, but again like many still needs little reminders to go out especially after her meals, particularly if she's hovering around to see if there is anymore food going, she is quite the little piglet. She has met children and is happy around them. Tilly loves her toys and playing, she has discovered throwing her toys at the 'touch' lamp turns it on and she finds that very entertaining :) Tilly is looking for a home where she would have company , she would be okay to be left a couple of hours. She's happier with another hound or hounds, she hasn't lived as an only dog whilst in our care. Tilly enjoys her walks her initial greeting to other dogs being a bark but after that she can't wait to get to her new found friends, both big and small, she's still learning about other dogs and the barking will calm down the more she is out and about away from kennels and continues to see other dogs. She travels well in the car and shares her space in the car with a male whippet currently with no issues. Tilly is spayed, microchipped, vaccinated and flead and wormed, she can be homed both locally and nationally .
