Gerald is a 4 year old greyhound and is a bit of a plank bless him. He is so much fun but so full of daft energy and still a little bit too interested in what is going on around him in the world in a not quite out of racing mode yet type way!
Gerald needs to go to a home with someone sensible who will take the time to safely introduce him to other breeds of dogs in a safe and controlled manner and help him learn about the world without blowing his head to much. Gerald is currently still kennelled on his own because when kennelled with one of the girls he wasn't capable of understanding what stop sticking your nose rudely up my backend or I will lamp you meant but he has now been neutered so that side of things is calming down.
We feel Gerald would be best as an only dog with someone around all or most of the time or with a strong competent female greyhound who wont take any of his ignorant lack of common sense whilst he learns to relax a bit.
Gerald will be best placed with children 8 years and upwards who are sensible because he is also still a bit of a clutz, he is not cat or small furry safe so no other animals. That said he walks well on the lead and travels like a dream and works hard to be clean in his kennel.
We absolutely adore this goofball and he is going to be someones absolute joy once he gets more into retired and less into racer brain space. Gerald is vaccinated, kc vaccinated, de flead, de wormed, microchipped, neutered and has received a dental and will be rehomed with 1 months free insurance from Petplan.
He is currently in Stoke on Trent but can be rehomed nationally subject to a successful homevisit being carried out and all members of the immediate family and any resident dogs being willing to travel to meet with him.
