Zero is a gorgeous and incredibly sweet black boy of approximately 28 Inches to the shoulder and 4 years of age. He settled in with his foster Mum very quickly and has been a super boy with the other dogs and getting used to home comforts. Zero is now ready to find his forever home.
Location: Zero is currently living with his foster family in Norfolk.
Key Points: Happy, relaxed, very loving, chilled, independent, gentle and bouncy when excited. Travels well, good with other dogs and loves people, good on the lead and loves cuddles.
~ Personality ~
Zero is an adorable SMILER and greets you with a toothy grin worthy of any toothpaste advert! He is such a character and loves to gaze at his reflection in the mirror and chat with you. He is a big cuddly boy and anyone lucky enough to adopt him will have a friend who makes them smile for life! Just an absolute sweetheart who is now waiting for his forever home and family.
~ In the Home ~
Zero has been a really good boy in the home and knows that no means no. He has always been very clean in the home and will ask to go out by standing patiently at the door. He currently sleeps in the lounge on his bed with no problems and can be left with another canine companion for a few hours with no issues. RESERVED
~ Other Animals ~
Zero is currently sharing his foster home with two female lurchers and two other dogs on a regular basis and is very good with all of them (he knows the girls are the bosses and knows his place)!
~ Out and About ~
Zero is currently having 2 long walks a day and garden play which he seems content with. He is great both on the lead (excited but will settle after a couple of minutes) and in the car.
~ Greyhounds as Pets ~
In general greyhounds are calm, mannerly dogs that are well used to being handled. They can fit very well in to a wide range of different lifestyles and usually adjust to the home life very quickly. Their soft, easy going nature often makes them ideal to live in a family environment, while their love of lazing around and low exercise requirements can make them perfect for the retired. Greyhounds also don’t shed as much as other more popular dog breeds and this can make them suitable to live with allergy sufferers.
~ Where Can I Live? ~
Zero could happily live with older children as he is a big waggy boy who's tail can be like a whip and he can be a tad clumsy like most big boys! We also feel that he would be happiest with at least one other canine companion as he's so good with other dogs. Please note that you will be required to travel to Norfolk to meet and collect him. Please be aware we do not home our dogs to families with children under 8 years of age.
