Kev is a super handsome black and white boy of approximately 28” Inches to the shoulder and 4 years of age. He settled in with his foster mum very quickly and has been a complete gentleman and is now ready to find his forever home.
Location: Kev is living with his foster family in Lincolnshire.
Key Points: : Friendly, loving, happy, chilled, independent, gentlemanly and just a bit scrumptious! Travels well, good with other dogs and loves people, good on the lead and loves cuddles.
~ Personality ~
Kev is real gentleman who can be shy to start with but adores cuddles and likes to take time to choose his favourite toy to fling around the garden. He likes to have cuddles scheduled after breakfast and also enjoys a cool drink from the outside tap on hot days.
~ In the Home ~
MKev has been a really good boy in the home although can occasionally counter surf if something tasty is in reach but he does know that no means no! He asks to go out but did have very occasional accidents which seem to now be a thing of the past but he will look out the window/door when he needs to go out for a wee so watching his body language is key. Kev sleeps well during the night with no issues whatsoever and doesn't have a problem with stairs.
~ Other Animals ~
Kev is currently sharing his foster home with 5 greyhounds and 2 lurchers and has been a perfect gent. He isn't food, toy or space aggressive. He is very good with other dogs and tend to just ignore them. Kev has also met small dogs and been very good but careful social introductions will still apply.
~ Out and About ~
Kev is currently having 2 x 30 minute walks and garden play which he seems content with. He is great both on the lead (excited but will settle after a couple of minutes) and in the car.
~ Greyhounds as Pets ~ In general greyhounds are calm, mannerly dogs that are well used to being handled. They can fit very well in to a wide range of different lifestyles and usually adjust to the home life very quickly. Their soft, easy going nature often makes them ideal to live in a family environment, while their love of lazing around and low exercise requirements can make them perfect for the retired. Greyhounds also don’t shed as much as other more popular dog breeds and this can make them suitable to live with allergy sufferers.
~ Where Can I Live? ~
Kev could happily live with children and quieter dogs or he could equally be happy as an only dog providing the family is at home the majority of the time. Please note that you will be required to travel to Lincolnshire to meet and collect him. Please be aware we do not home our dogs to families with children under 8 years of age.
