Big softie Briggs is a friendly, laid-back boy who has had a tough time of it in the past, and is now looking for a relaxing retirement home where he can put his paws up. Although a bit battle scarred and short on tail, this six-year-old brindle lurcher is an affable chap who is just looking for a little love in his life. He’s used to being on his own, so is happy doing his own thing, and independent enough to be left alone for short periods.
Briggs walks nicely on the lead, and travels well. We took him down to the town, and his manners were impeccable. He enjoys the company of polite dogs, and will greet them nicely, but he definitely prefers not to be jumped on! A home where he will be the only dog, or with an older, calm canine companion would be ideal. He’d enjoy the company of older children too. Briggs may look like a bit of a bruiser, but underneath he’s a lovely, gentle boy who enjoys fuss and affection. Could you be the one to give him a happy forever home?
