The lovely greyhound is Princess, who was used for breeding until she was rescued in February and given a home by her present owner, who already had a male greyhound. She was overbred, badly treated and locked away, so had no socialisation before being rescued. Princess gets on well with the other greyhound in the home, but the owner has three boys and another baby on the way, and Princess finds the noise the children make too much and gets very stressed and unhappy. Her owner feels that she would be much happier in a quieter home, and has asked GALR to help her find a new home. She has been vaccinated, spayed and has had a full health check by the vet. Princess is excellent on and off the lead and has very good recall. She get on well with dogs of all sizes and is a very sweet natured girl. She does need the company of another dog(s) in the house. If you may be able to give Princess a new home, please ring her owner Clare on 07837491967. She is in Tyne and Wear.
